Artem qualified as a solicitor in September 2009 after obtaining a Master of Laws degree with honours from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

In March 2023, Artem was registered in the United Kingdom as a foreign lawyer regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
